Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour (toasted in a pan until golden brown)
  • 1 cup sesame seeds (toasted and ground)
  • 1 cup almonds (blanched, toasted, and ground)
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground anise
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the toasted flour, ground sesame seeds, and almonds.
  2. Add cinnamon, anise, and salt.
  3. Slowly stir in melted butter and honey until the mixture forms a paste.
  4. Shape into small pieces or serve as a crumble with mint tea.
